China Overseas (688) announced that the Group spent RMB 24 billion in July to acquire 11 plots of land in nine cities including Beijing and Hong Kong, with a total floor area of approximately 3 million square meters
In the first seven months, the Group acquired a total of 35 new plots, with a total land transfer fee of over RMB 73 billion and a floor area of over 7.4 million square meters. In addition, Zhonghai Hongyang (081), a subsidiary of the Group, also acquired four plots of land in Qingyuan City of Guangdong Province and Nantong City of Jiangsu Province in July, with a total floor area of approximately 600,000 square meters, covering a land transfer fee of over RMB 4.4 billion.
On the other hand, China’s overseas contracted property sales in the first seven months totaled 227.3 billion yuan, an increase of 30.74% year-on-year, and the corresponding sales floor area exceeded 10.68 million square meters
Among them, China Overseas Hongyang’s contracted property sales accounted for 15% of the total, reaching 34.6 billion yuan, and the floor area is one-fourth of the group’s total floor area, exceeding 2.77 million square meters.
Sales in the first seven months increased by 30%
In July alone, China Overseas recorded sales of over RMB 33.1 billion in contracted properties. The corresponding floor area sold was approximately 1.46 million square meters, of which China Overseas Hongyang sold more than RMB 6 billion and the floor area was nearly 400,000 square meters.
