According to the Land Registry, McDonald’s spent $66 million in 1988 to purchase the site for personal use. However, it was leased to Watsons from the end of 1998 and has been in use for more than 20 years. According to the data, the shop will be closed next Tuesday (18th), and the market valuation was as high as 1 billion yuan.
