Small oyster Bay depot built 108 buildings involving 14,000 people

Following the launch of Tseung Kwan O’s largest railway project, the construction of up to 108 residential buildings, including 14,000 flats and 320,000 square feet of shopping malls, will be built as soon as 2023, with an estimated 3 to 4 Years after the push.

Provide 32 million foot shopping malls

In order to increase the supply of housing, the Government has included the small oyster harbor in a potential railway development project in recent years to develop residential, commercial and community facilities.

According to the latest information released by the MTR (00066), a 10 ounce (3.229 sq ft) of small oyster harbor depot will build a platform for the construction of 108 residential buildings with a height of 86 to 106 M (the main level above), will provide about 14,000 units, is expected to accommodate 3.78 million people living, will be from the Tseung Kwan O Sunrise Cannes after the future of the largest railway cover project.

In addition to residential development, the project will provide about 323,000 square feet of retail shopping malls and a number of community facilities, including 3 schools, 4 kindergartens and public transport interchanges. According to the preliminary layout map, nearly 30% of the residential buildings will be built along the coast, looking out the North Lantau sea view, and more than 40 low-rise residential buildings will be facing the North Lantau Highway.

The fastest start at the end of 2023

At the same time, the small oyster Bay depot development project plans to implement 4, and each period is divided into two to three stages of development. The first phase of the earliest development will be the low-rise residential group along the North Lantau Highway, which is expected to start construction at the end of 2023 and begin occupancy in 2026, followed by a high-rise residential group along the coast. To the east is divided into three stages of development, the whole project is expected to be completed in 2038.

Due to the high cost of development in the existing depot, the market estimates that the project is used as a private residential development opportunity, excluding some units or HOS. With reference to the first phase of the project, it is estimated that the project will begin shortly after three to four years.

It is worth noting that the existing small oyster Bay depot is not set up and down stations, MTR plans to add a small oyster Bay station. The station will begin construction in 2019 and is expected to commence operation in 2026, which is expected to be able to enjoy rail services when it comes to occupying the first phase of housing.

In addition, because the small oyster Bay is located in the northwest water quality control area, adjacent to the Oyster River, the size of the grind coral community, Ma Wan fish farming area and other ecologically sensitive areas, ecological and environmental impact is expected to project progress in the future.
