Anderson Road Project or Private Participation

The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Mr Stephen Chan, said in a radio interview yesterday that the Hong Kong people in Kwun Tong will be placed on the first floor of the Hong Kong Housing Authority. The Government will be responsible for the development of the Urban Renewal Authority, the Hong Kong Housing Society or the Hong Kong Housing Authority. Reasonable arrangements; however, if the land is sold through auction, private contractors can also participate. He also pointed out that under the tight supply of housing, any government can consider the arrangements for the unit to launch the market faster.
